The journey of Bethel Prophetic Ministries is inseparable from the life and calling of Bishop John F. Aruldoss. His spiritual walk began in 1972 when he received salvation, marking the start of a lifelong commitment to the Kingdom of God. In 1983, following a powerful anointing, he officially entered the ministry.

Bishop Aruldoss’s early years were shaped by rigorous spiritual mentorship and service. He spent three formative years serving under the guidance of Brother Vincent Selvakumar and later collaborated extensively with Father Berchmans, ministering across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

In 1986, a local church named Praise Jesus Church was established in Karaikudi. The church witnessed rapid supernatural growth; as a result, land was purchased to serve its 800 members shortly after its inception. By 1992, a new facility was built to accommodate a growing congregation of over 1,000 members.

Throughout his ministry, Bishop Aruldoss has been a prominent voice in Christian media and evangelism, reaching global audiences through Angel TV (since 2011). His TV ministries there included:

In 2017, the vision for Bethel was formally launched, and a special place of worship was acquired. This journey of faith led to the successful completion of the Bethel building in 2022. Expanding the ministry's reach even further, Shekinah TV was launched in 2024, bringing the light of the Gospel to thousands of homes through cable networks and mobile apps.
